Our Mission
Our mission is to assist in planting and maintaining fruit trees on 420 hectares of orchards (about 1,040 US acres) on communal Creole land in the Caribbean region of Nicaragua.
We are primarily planting breadfruit trees because the sale of the fruit from these trees will permanently and directly benefit over 30,000 members of the impoverished indigenous Creole community by providing food security, permanent employment, while at the same time reforesting degraded ancestral land.
